ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ISSUING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE EXPANSION OF A EXISTING PARKING LOT AND BUILDING LOCATED AT 7821 GLADYS, DOWLEN WEST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,UNIT XXIII,JEFFERSON COUNTY,TEXAS. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Beaumont considered the issuance of a specific use permit to allow Scott and Pam Shelander to expand an existing parking lot and building located at 7821 Gladys, being east 93 feet of Lot A, Block 36, Dowlen West, Unit 19 (Replat); lot 29, Block 36, Dowlen West, Unit 23; and Tracts 1 and 2 of lot 28, Block 36, Dowlen West, Unit 23 to the City of Beaumont, Unit XXIII, Jefferson County, Texas, their legal representatives, successors, and assigns for that certain property; and, WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the issuance of such specific use permit is in the best interest of the City of Beaumont and its citizens, subject to the hereinafter described conditions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: Section 1. That all conditions necessary for issuance of a specific use permit have been met and a specific use permit to allow Scott and Pam Shelander to expand an existing parking lot and building located at 7821 Gladys, being east 93 feet of Lot A, Block 36, Dowlen West, Unit 19 (Replat); lot 29, Block 36, Dowlen West, Unit 23; and Tracts 1 and 2 of lot 28, Block 36, Dowlen West, Unit 23 to the City of Beaumont, Unit XXIII, Jefferson County, Texas, their 6' - 93- �13 2 — 7 J_3 legal representatives, successors, and assigns for that certain tract described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes, subject to the above conditions. Section 2. That the specific use permit herein granted is expressly issued for and in accordance with each particular and detail of the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof for all purposes. Section 3. Notwithstanding the site plan attached hereto, the use of the property hereinabove described shall be in all other respects subject to all of the applicable regulations contained in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, as amended.
