ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ISSUING A SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT TO ALLOW THE SOUTH PARK CHURCH OF
CHRIST TO ESTABLISH A NEW CHURCH IN THE 800
BLOCK OF W. CARDINAL DRIVE ON A 2.98 ACRE TRACT
OF LAND IN THE J. A. VEATCH SURVEY,ZONED RS
(RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING), BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Beaumont issued a Specific Use
Permit to allow the South Park Church of Christ to establish a new church in the 800 block of
W. Cardinal Drive on a 2.98 acre tract of land in the J. A. Veatch Survey, zoned RS
(Residential Single Family Dwelling), Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the issuance of such specific
use permit is in the best interest of the City of Beaumont and its citizens, subject to the
hereinafter described conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That all conditions necessary for issuance of a specific use permit have been met
and a specific use permit to allow the South Park Church of Christ to establish a new church
in the 800 block of W. Cardinal Drive on a 2.98 acre tract of land in the J. A. Veatch Survey,
zoned RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling), Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, its legal
representatives, successors and assigns for that certain tract described on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes, subject to the above conditions.

Section 2.
That the specific use permit herein granted is expressly issued for and in
accordance with each particular and detail of the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and
made a part hereof for all purposes.
Section 3.
Notwithstanding the site plan attached hereto, the use of the property hereinabove
described shall be in all other respects subject to all of the applicable regulations contained in
Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, as amended.
