OF INTENTION TO ISSUE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT BONDS

COUNTY OF JEFFERSON §
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont intends to sell $13,300,000 of
its City of Beaumont, Texas, Public Improvement Bonds, Series 1992,
the proceeds of which are to be used for street and drainage
improvements;
WHEREAS, the sale of the Bonds is scheduled for March 3, 1992;
WHEREAS, it is hereby officially found and determined that
public notice of the date, hour, place, and purpose of this meeting
was given, all as required by Article 6252-17, Vernon' s Annotated
Texas Civil Statutes, as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That, the Notice attached hereto shall be published in English
in the Texas Bond Reporter, at least once a week for two
consecutive weeks prior to the date of the meeting of the City
Council at which the issuance of the bonds described therein is to
be authorized, with the date of the first publication to be not
later than at least fourteen ( 14) days prior to the aforesaid
meeting.

NOTICE OF SALE OF
$13,300,000 THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS,
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 1992
The City of Beaumont, Texas, will receive sealed bids at the
City Hall, 801 Main Street, Beaumont, Texas, until 1 :30 p.m. , CST,
on the 3rd day of March, 1992, for the following tax bonds of said
City: $13, 300, 000 Public Improvement Bonds, Series 1992 . These
bonds are the third and final installment of street improvement
bonds and the second and final installment of drainage improvement
bonds authorized at separate elections held on April 5, 1980 and
March 22 , 1983, respectively.
Official Notice of Sale and Bid Form may be obtained from the
offices of Rauscher Pierce Refsnes Inc. , 1001 Fannin Street, Suite
700, Houston, Texas 77002 , Financial Advisor to the City,
beginning February 18, 1992 .
