ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING
A 20 FOOT BY 659.10 FOOT ALLEY LYING
ACROSS BLOCK 38, AVERILL ADDITION,
EXTENDING FROM 9TH STREET TO 10TH
STREET, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY,
TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a 20 foot by 659.10 foot alley lying across Block 38, Averill Addition, extending from
9th Street to 10th Street, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, is hereby, abandoned, subject to the retention of a 20 foot by 200 foot general
utility easement. The easement will lie at the rear of Lots 1 and 2 of the amended plat of
Block 38.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the ! 7 day
of 1992.
