ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING WALTON
STREET FROM MAGNOLIA AVENUE TO WITHERS LANE
AND WITHERS LANE FROM GILL STREET TO HALE
STREET, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Walton Street from Magnolia Avenue to Withers Lane and Withers Lane from Gill
Street to Hale Street, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, be, and it is hereby, abandoned subject to the retention of sixty (60') foot wide general
utility easements in place of the rights-of-way of the two streets requested for abandonment and
title to such property shall revert to and become the property of the persons entitled thereto, as
provided by law.
