ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND
APPROVING THE TAX ROLL FOR THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT FOR THE TAX YEAR 1990;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
WHEREAS, by ordinance dated September 18, 1990, the City of Beaumont
approved a certified tax roll for the City of Beaumont for the tax year 1990; and,
WHEREAS, a certified amendment to such assessment roll as been provided to
the City of Beaumont reducing the taxable value of such assessment roll by $62,910.00 resulting
in a certified tax roll of $2,790,700,060; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept the amended, certified appraisal
roll provided to the City of Beaumont by the Jefferson County Appraisal District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That the tax roll submitted to the City Council by the Jefferson County Appraisal
District, a summary of which is attached as Exhibit "A", and showing the total net taxable
assessed value of all property within the City to be $2,790,700,060.00 is hereby approved and
adopted by the City of Beaumont.
Section 2.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance, or the
application of same to a particular set of persons or circumstances, should for any reason be
held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance, and

to such end the various portions and provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed to the extent
of the conflict only.
