ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
BEECH AVENUE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Beech Avenue street right-of-way lying between Tenth Street
and Eleventh Street, situated south of and adjacent to IH-10
East, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof, be, and the same is
hereby, vacated and abandoned, subject to the retention of a
general utility easement along the south side of the street,
being a 20 foot x 500 foot (20 ' x 500 ' ) strip adjacent to the
north property lines of Lots 1 through 10 , Block 1 , Emma Reed
Addition, and that title to such abandoned property shall revert
to and become the property of the persons entitled thereto, as
provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
