ORDINANCE NO. �9�a-
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ISSUING A SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT TO ALLOW LUMPKIN'S WRECKER SERVICE TO
EXCEED STORAGE LIMITS OF 10 VEHICLES ON
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5360 COLLEGE STREET,
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City Council, after favorable
recommendation by the Planning staff, considered the issuance of
a specific use permit to allow Lumpkin' s Wrecker Service to
exceed storage limits of 10 vehicles on property located at 5360
College Street, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, to J. C.
Chance, Inc. , property owner, its legal representatives,
successors, and assigns for that certain property hereinafter
described, conditional upon the erection of an eight foot (8 ' )
high, solid wood board privacy screening fence around the entire
storage yard area and the restriction of no additional cars on
the lot until after the fence is erected; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
issuance of such specific use permit is in the best interest of
the City of Beaumont and its citizens, subject to the hereinafter
described conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1 .
That a specific use permit to allow Lumpkin' s Wrecker
Service to exceed storage limits of 10 vehicles on property
located at 5360 College Street, Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, is hereby granted to J. C. Chance, Inc. , property owner,
its legal representatives, successors and assigns for that

certain tract described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a
part hereof for all purposes conditional upon the erection of an
eight foot (8 ' ) high solid wood board privacy screening fence
around the entire storage yard area and the restriction of no
additional cars on the lot until after the fence is erected.
Section 2.
That the specific use permit herein granted is
expressly issued for and in accordance with each particular and
detail of the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and made a
part hereof for all purposes.
Section 3.
Notwithstanding the site plan attached hereto, the use
of the property hereinabove described shall be in all other
respects subject to all of the applicable regulations contained
in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, as
amended.
