WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) cab and chassis
equipped with a 14 cubic yard dump body for the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, International Trucks, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in amount
of $85,335.25; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by International
Trucks, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted in amount of $85,335.25 by International Trucks, Houston,
Texas, for the purchase of one (1) cab and chassis equipped with a 14 cubic yard
dump body for the Water Utilities Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 30th day of
September, 2003.
