ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE PERIOD
COMMENCING OCTOBER 1 , 1987 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30 , 1988 BY REDUCING THE NUMBER OF
ALLOCATED POSITIONS IN THE EMERGENCY SERVICES
DEPARTMENT, AND AMENDING THE FISCAL LINE
ITEMS OF THE BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY AND REPEALING ORDINANCE IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1 .
That the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal
period commencing October 1 , 1987 and ending September 30 , 1988
be, and the same is hereby amended, to reflect the abolishment of
the following position in the Emergency Services Department:
Training Center (B324) Grade Number
Fire Protection Engineer 13 1
Section 2.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to a
particular set of persons or circumstances should for any reason
be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall in no wise affect
the remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such end the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
