WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase and installation of two (2) electric
motors for use by the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Placo, Ltd. submitted a bid in the amount of$40,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Placo, Ltd.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of $40,000 submitted by Placo, Ltd. for the purchase and
installation of two (2) electric motors for use by the Water Utilities Division be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 9t" day of
September, 2003.
