WHEREAS, bids were received forthe rehabilitation of the Elevated Water Storage
Tank at Sabine Pass and Harriot Street; and,
WHEREAS, Utility Service Co., Inc., Houston,Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of$328,650; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Utility Service
Co., Inc., Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of $328,650 submitted by Utility Service Co., Inc., Houston,
Texas, for the rehabilitation of the Elevated Water Storage Tank at Sabine Pass and
Harriot Street be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of
August, 2003.
