WHEREAS, the claim of Shyla Johnson has been discussed in an Executive
Session properly called and held Tuesday, August 12, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Shyla Johnson
in the amount of Six-Thousand Five-Hundred ($6,500) Dollars payable to Shyla Johnson.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of
August, 2003.
