ISSUANCE OF ANY BUILDING PERMITS OR
CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY AND COMPLIANCE �'OR

SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF DEAUMON"':
Section 1 •
That the moratorium on the issuance of &ti,e- build:i.ng
permits or certificates of occupancy and compliancE!. for any
residential care land use included in the 1972 SIC :)[Elnual, Group
836, be, and the same is hereby, extended through ,; .-pt.siiber.- 22,
1987, to allow the necessary time to provide legal :,.c>t.ice of e.
public hearing for proposed recommendation regulat:. ,.c; residential
care facilities.
Section 2.
That if any section, subsection, sentencE:, clause or
phrase of this ordinance, or the application of saj�i, tc a
particular set of persons or circumstances, should Eor any reason
be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not aiEect the
remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such ::>>c'l the various
portions and provisions of this ordinance are decl,:.;:e!~:. to be
severable.
Section 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in +;on.fliz:t
herewith are repealed to the extent of the conflict. only.
