BE IT ORDAINED 31Y THEE CITY OF BEAUIDNIT:
Section 1 .
The budget of the Ci'Ly of Beaumont for the fiscal
period commencing October 1 , 1986 ana ending September 30, 1987,
be and the same is hereby amended as folloWs:
1 ) There is hereby appropriated into the General and +Che
amount of $763, 150 , into the =^eater Fund the amount of $189r580 ,
into the EPI-11 Fund the amount of $137,260, into the 'dater
improvement Fund the sum of 1,229,060 , ana into the Street
improvement Fund the suTi.,, of $586,730. Said ap-propr ial.:ions bei.n eg
derived, from the proceeds of the settlement of litigation with

Fida'Ca Corporation in the amount of $1 ,305,330 and $100,000 1-1 0'll
the settlement of a claim with _T?irst Cit-y '11rational Ban'A, -
Beaumont.
2 ) General Fund appropriations are hereby increased by an
appropriation of $445, 000 from the proceeds from Certificates of
ParticiDation for computer purchases.
3 ) the General improvement Fun(7, is hereby increased by an
appropriation of $119,000 from funds in the General Fund
resulting from savings in the Parks Department.

4 ) The Convention Facilities Fund is hereby increased by
an appropriation of $200,000 from General Fund unappropriated
fund balances.
5 ) The Sanitation Fund is hereby increased by an
appropriation of $118,220 from unappropriated retained earnings
in the Sanitation Fund.
6 ) The STEP Grant Fund is hereby increased by an
appropriation of $32,540 from a grant from the State of Texas.
7 ) The Julie Rogers Trust Fund is hereby increased by an
apporopriation of $4,200 from unappropriated current year
interest revenue in such fund.
8 ) The Tyrrell Historical Trust Fund is hereby increaser.
by an appropriation of $1 ,000 from unappropriated current year
revenues in such fund.
9 ) The Fire Department Historical Auseum Fund is hereby
increased by an appropriation of $5,000 from unappropriated
current year revenues and fund balances in such fund.
10 ) The Rental Rehabilitation Fund is hereby increased by
an appropriation of $46,000 from funds received from Housing and
Urban Development.
11 ) The Confiscated Goods Fund is hereby increased by an
appropriation of $54 , 450 from unappropriated current year revenue
from confiscated goods.
12 ) The Debt Service Fund is hereby increased by an
appropriation of 0183,040 from bond refunding proceeds and
current year interest revenue.

13 ) The Debt Service Fund for other uses - Advance
11-Zefunding of General Obligation Bonds is hereby increased by an
appropriation of $55, 430,161 from the procees of the Advance
Refunding Bond sale.
Section 2.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance, or the application of same to a
particular set of persons or circumstances, should -for any reason
be 'held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the
remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such end the various
portions and provisions of this ordinance are declared to be
severable.
Section 3 .
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of tile conflict only.
