WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of sixteen (16)SCBA units and air
cylinders for use in the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Dooley Tackaberry, Inc., Deer Park, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$56,500.80; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Dooley
Tackaberry, Inc., Deer Park, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of $56,500.80 submitted by Dooley Tackaberry, Inc., Deer
Park, Texas, for the purchase of sixteen (16) SCBA units and air cylinders for use in the
Fire Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 19th day of
August, 2003.
