RESOLUTION NO. 03-177
WHEREAS, bids were received for a six (6) month contract to purchase liquid
chlorine for use by the Public Works Department, Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Altiva Corporation, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid at the unit cost of
$399 per ton for an estimated annual expenditure of$55,860; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Altiva
Corporation, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid at the unit cost of $399 per ton for an estimated annual expenditure of
$55,860 submitted by Altiva Corporation, Houston, Texas, for a six (6) month contract to
purchase liquid chlorine for use by the Public Works Department, Water Utilities Division
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 19th day of
August, 2003.
