WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract to purchase asphalts, oils
and emulsions for use by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage Division;
and,
WHEREAS, Koch Materials Company, submitted a bid at following unit costs per
gallon: RC-250 at $3.50; SS-1 at $0.70; RS-2 at $0.70; AES-300 at $0.74; and AE-P at
$0.85 ; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Koch Materials
Company should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the unit costs shown above submitted by Koch Materials Company, for an
annual contract to purchase asphalts, oils and emulsions for use by the Public Works
Department, Streets and Drainage Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 19th day of
August, 2003.
