WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract to construct a new chlorine building,
driveway, parking area, and grade the site and improve the drainage at Loeb Water Plant
site; and,
WHEREAS, Allco, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$211,036.98; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Allco, Inc.,
Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of$211,036.98 submitted by Allco, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, for
a contract to construct a new chlorine building, driveway, parking area, and grade the site
and improve the drainage at Loeb Water Plant site be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 19th day of
August, 2003.
