WHEREAS, Gene A. Van Meter, Paul D. Drawhorn, L. Elray Wilson and Wallace
A. Domingue, Jr. have conveyed a fifty (50) foot wide general utility easement to
accommodate the construction, alteration, operation and maintenance of the utility
improvements and their appurtenances to the City of Beaumont out of their property, being
out of Block 37, Cartwright and Roberts Subdivision "A," David Brown Survey, Abstract 5,
Jefferson County, Texas, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS,the City Council has considered the conveyance of said easement and
is of the opinion that the delivery and receipt of said easement of property is necessary and
desirable and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the easement to said tract of land tendered by Gene A. Van Meter, Paul D.
Drawhorn, L. Elray Wilson and Wallace A. Domingue, Jr. be and the same is hereby in all
things accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 19th day of
August, 2003.
