ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
THE EAST 3 FEET OF A TWENTY-FOOT UTILITY
EASEMENT ACROSS LOT 1 AND LOTS 4 TO 14, BLOCK
37, DOWLEN WEST XXI, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING FOR RETENTION OF A
UTILITY EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the east 3 feet of a 20-foot utility easement across Lot 1 and
Lots 4 to 14, Block 37, Dowlen West XXI, as shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, be and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned,
subject to retention of the drainage and street light easements
that run east to west between Galway Drive and the 20-foot sanitary
sewer easement along the west side of subject loses. The easements
are between Lots 1 and 4, 5 and 6, 6 and 7, 7 and 8, 9 and 10, 11
and 12, and 13 and 14. Title to such property, other than the
rights retained herein, shall revert to and become the property of
the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law,
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
