ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A 20—FOOT ALLEY LOCATED IN BLOCK 21, CARTWRIGHT
TERRACE ADDITION, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY,
TEXAS, AND PROVIDING FOR RETENTION OF A UTILITY
EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the north 339 feet of a 354-foot long by 20-foot wide alley in
Block 21, Cartwright Terrace Addition, as shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, be and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned,
and that title to such property, other than the rights retained
herein, shall revert to and become the property of the persons
entitled thereto, as provided by law; providing, however, that the
hereinabove described tract of land is expressly retained by the
City of Beaumont as•.:'a%;easement for general utility purposes only.
