ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING THE SOUTH 6
INCHES OF A 15 FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT ON LOTS 16
AND 17, BLOCK 4, WESTMONT ADDITION AND LOCATED
AT 3075 WESTMONT DRIVE, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, David Walston and John Sullivan, owners of
property abutting the subject easement, have requested the
abandonment of that six inch (6") strip thereof which is described
below and upon which their residence is presently encroaching; and
WHEREAS, such six inch (6") easement is not presently
needed nor foreseeably to be needed by the City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the south 6 inches of a 15 foot utility easement on Lots 16 and
17, Block 4, Westmont Addition, and located at 3075 Westmont Drive,
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as shown on the plat attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" be, and the same is hereby, vacated and
abandoned, and that title to such property shall revert to and
become the property of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by
1 aw.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of ���.�� 1986.
