ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD
COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 1985 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER
30, 1986 BY TRANSFERRING MONIES TO B-390 TRAFFIC
AND STREET LIGHTING FOR A SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD
PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
Section 1 .
That the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal
period commencing October 1 , 1985 and ending September 30, 1986 be
amended to reflect a transfer of Five Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($5, 850) from Fund 08-Community Donations to Traffic and
Street Lighting (B-390) for the School Crossing Guard Program.
Further, the amount of Five Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($5, 850) is hereby appropriated in Revenue Account "School
Crossing Guard Program" to be funded by a payment of Five Thousand
Six Hundred Dollars ( $5,600) from the Beaumont Independent School
District and Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250) from All Saints
Episcopal School.
Section 2 .
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance, or the application of same to a
particular set of persons or circumstances, should for any reason
be held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining
portions of this ordinance, and to such end the various portions
and provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3 .
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
