ORDINANCE NO. --
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCES 83-53
AND 85-17 WHICH ESTABLISHED THE COMPENSATION AND
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT OF THE
CITY MANAGER, KARL NOLLENBERGER; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 83-53 and Ord. 85-17 the
compensation terms and conditions of employment of the City
Manager, Karl Nollenberger, were established by the City Council;
and,
WHEREAS, Karl Nollenberger has submitted his resignation
effective October 1 , 1985; and,
WHEREAS, such ordinances should be repealed effective
that date;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1 .
That Ordinances 83-53 and 85-17 be, and the same are
hereby, repealed effective 11:59 p.m. October 1 , 1985.
Section 2 .
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of
this ordinance or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances should for any reason be held to be
invalid, such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining
portions of this ordinance, and to such end the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.

Section 3 .
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
