ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 84-26
CONCERNING THE ABANDONMENT OF 12TH STREET FROM
CORLEY AVENUE SOUTH TO TERRELL STREET AND
PORTIONS OF CARTWRIGHT, ROBERTS AND TERRELL
STREETS, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, on February 14, 1984, the City Council of the
City of Beaumont approved Ordinance 84-26 abandoning the
rights-of-way for portions of Cartwright, Roberts, Twelfth and
Terrell Streets and retaining the abandoned rights-of-way as
general utility easements; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the rentention of
the easements is unnecessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ordinance 84-26 be, and it is hereby, amended to delete the
retention of the abandoned rights-of-way for portions of
Cartwright, Roberts, Twelfth and Terrell Streets as general utility
easements.
