WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase and installation of one (1) raw
sewage pump for use in the Water Reclamation Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Placo, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$170,654.50; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Placo, Inc.,
Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Placo, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, in the amount of$170,654.50
for the purchase of and installation of one (1) Fairbanks Morse C5741 raw sewage at the
Water Reclamation Plant be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 15th day of July,
2003.
