RESOLUTION NO. 03-149
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) diesel powered
excavator for the Clean Community Department, Landfill Division; and,
WHEREAS, Waukesha-Pearce Industries, Port Arthur, Texas, submitted a bid in
the amount of$189,900; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Waukesha-
Pearce Industries, Port Arthur, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Waukesha-Pearce Industries, Port Arthur,Texas, in the amount
of $189,900 for the purchase of one (1) Komatsu PC300LC-7 excavator for the Clean
Community Department, Landfill Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 15th day of July,
2003.
