ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A 60-FOOT GENERAL UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED
BETWEEN BLOCKS 13 AND 14, LAMAR ADDITION,
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain 60-foot utility easement located between Blocks
13 and 14 , Lamar Addition, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, be and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, and
that title to such property shall revert to and become the
property of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Lamar University will accept
responsibility for future maintenance and control over the 12-
inch sanitary sewer line that exists in the 60-foot utility
easement.
