ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT COMMENCING
OCTOBER 1 , 1984, TO PROVIDE AN
APPROPRIATION TO FUND THE CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT AND THE INTERNATIONAL
ASSOCIATION OF FIRE FIGHTERS, LOCAL 399;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING
FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1 .
That the budget of the City of Beaumont commencing
October 1 , 1984 and eding September 30, 1985 be, and the same is
hereby , amended by appropriating $152,000 to Fire Department
Account No. B326-00108 out of $82, 000 of the unappropriated balance
in the General Fund and $70,000 from Urban Transportation Traffic
and Street Lighting, Electricity Account No. B390-00319.
Section 2.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance, or the application of same to a
particular set of persons or circumstances, should for any reason
be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the
remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such end the various
portions and provisions of this ordinance are declared to be
severable.
Section 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
