ORDINANCE NO. 83_
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND
ABANDONING A 20-FOOT BY 300-FOOT
ALLEY LOCATED IN BLOCK 32, MCFADDIN
SECOND ADDITION, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN;
PROVIDING FOR THE RETENTION OF A
GENERAL UTILITY EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain 20-foot by 300-foot alley described as follows:
Being a 20-foot by 300-foot alley running
in an east/west direction in Block 32,
McFaddin Second Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Texas, and bounded on the north
by Lots 7 through 12 and on the south by
Lots 1 through 6 , all out of Block 32,
McFaddin Second Addition;
be and the same is hereby , vacated and abandoned, and that title to
such property, other than the rights retained herein, shall revert
to and become the property of the persons entitled thereto, as
provided by law; providing, however, that the hereinabove described
tract of land is expressly retained by the City of Beaumont as an
easement for general utility purposes only .
