ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND
ABANDONING A PORTION OF JIROU STREET
AND A PORTION OF ISLA STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Jirou Street beginning at the south right-of-way line of
Caldwell Avenue and extending south a distance of 870 feet to the
north right-of-way line of the Interstate 10 East frontage road,
and Isla Street beginning at the east right-of-way line of Jirou
Street and extending east a distance of 300 feet to the west
right-of-way line of Gulf Street be, and the same are hereby,
vacated and abandoned, but retained as general utility easements
for maintenance of utilities located therein, and that title to
such property shall revert to and become the property of the
persons entitled thereto, as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
