ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND
ABANDONING A PORTION OF WALNUT STREET
RIGHT-OF-WAY AND A PORTION OF MAIN
STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a three-foot strip of Walnut Street right-of-way from the
east side of Walnut Street between Main and Mulberry and a
six-inch strip of Main Street right-of-way from the northeast side
of Main Street from Walnut southeastward for a distance of 40 feet
and as more completely described in Exhibit "A" , be, and the same
is hereby , vacated and abandoned, and that title to such property
shall revert to and become the property of the persons entitled
thereto, as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this

south at this point and running for a distance 130.95'
on a line parallel to the western boundaries of lots
685 and 684; turning on a bearing S 40°-42'-22" E
and running, 43.59' parallel to lot 683; and turning
on a bearing N 49°-17'-38" E and running 0.5' to
intersect the property line of lot 683.
