ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND
ABANDONING AVENUE A BETWEEN
CROCKETT AND CEDAR STREETS AS
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Avenue A between Crockett and Cedar Streets, as described
herein, be, and the same is hereby , vacated and abandoned, subject
to the retention of the area as a general utility easement, and
that title to such property shall revert to and become the
property of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law;
Being a 60 foot by 660 foot portion of Avenue
A beginning on the south right-of-way line of
Cedar Street and extending generally
southeast for a distance of 660 feet to the
north right-of-way line of Crockett Street.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
