ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE FOR THE ISSUANCE
OF A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT TO BUILD
TWO ( 2 ) RADIO TRANSMISSION TOWERS IN
AN R-3 (MODIFIED TWO FAMILY AND MULTIPLE
DWELLING) DISTRICT ON PROPERTY LOCATED
105 FEET SOUTH OF THE 700-800 BLOCKS OF
POLLARD STREET;
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Beaumont considered the issuance of a specific use permit for the
purpose of building two ( 2 ) radio transmission towers in an R-3
(Modified Two Family and Multiple Dwelling) District to Mark
Whiteley, engineer for applicant, its heirs, representatives,
successors, and assigns, for that certain property described on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
issuance of such specific use permit is in the best interest of the
City of Beaumont and its citizens, subject to the hereinafter
described conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1 .
That a specific use permit to build two ( 2 ) radio
transmission towers in accordance with Section 30-26 and Section
30-40, as amended, be granted to Mark Whiteley, engineer for
applicant, its heirs, legal representatives, successors and assigns
for that certain property located 105 feet south of the 700-800
Blocks of Pollard Street and described on the attached Exhibit "A" .
Section 2 .
That the specific use permit herein granted is expressly
issued for and in accordance with each particular and detail of the
site plan attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof for
all purposes.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
