ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING A
15-FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN
BLOCK 11, FRENCH HEIGHTS ADDITION,
BEAUMONT, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain 15-foot utility easement as shown on the plat
attached as Exhibit "A" and being out of a 1.11 acre tract of land
out of Block 11, French Heights Addition, Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, described in Exhibit "B" , be, and the same is
hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title to such property
shall revert to and become the property of the persons entitled
thereto, as provided by law.

FIELD NOTE DESCRIPTION OF" A 1.11 ACRE TRACT OF LAND OUT OF BLOCK. 11 OF
FRENCH HEIGHTS ADDITION
BEING a 1.11 acre tract of land out of the A. Williams Survey, Abstract
No. 385 in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas and being out of Block 11 of
French Heights Addition and said 1.11 acre tract of land being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point 'in the South right-of-way line of Arthur Street and
in the West line of the A. Williams Survey and in the -West line of Block
11 of said French Heights and in the centerline of a drainage ditch
locating the Northwest and the beginning corner of the tract of land
herein described;
THENCE South 89 degrees 59 minutes East with the extension of the South
line of Arthur Street a distance of 150.0 feet to a 3/4 inch iron pipe
found for corner; _
THENCE South 0 degrees 37 minutes East a distance of 322.67 feet to a 3/4
inch iron pipe found for corner; F
THENCE South 89 degrees 23 minutes West and at 140.0 feet pass a 3/4 inch
iron- pipe found and continue a total distance of 150.0 feet to a point
for corner in a drainage ditch and in the West line of said A. Williams
Survey;
THENCE North 0 degrees 37 minutes West with said line a distance of
324.33 feet to the place of beginning containing 1.11 acres of land .
