ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND
ABANDONING A PORTION OF COLORADO
STREET LOCATED BETWEEN CHEEK AND
UNIVERSITY DRIVE TO THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY,
TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN, PROVIDING
THAT PART OF SUCH STREET BE RETAINED
AS A GENERAL UTILITY EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain portion of Colorado Street located between Cheek
and University Street described as follows:
A 60 foot by 382 foot portion of the Colorado
Street right of way bounded on the east by the
western right of way line of Cheek Street, on
the north by the southern boundary of Block 14
of the Lamar Addition, Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas; and bounded on the south by the
northern boundary line of Block 15 of the Lamar
Addition, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
and further depicted on the plat attached hereto
as Exhibit "A1l and made a part hereof for all
purposes.

such property shall revert to and become the property of the persons
entitled thereto, as provided by law.
