ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERING
$2009000 FROM THE WATER IMPROVEMENT
FUND TO THE STREET CONSTRUCTION FUND
AWARDING A BID TD BELLA COMPANY OF
BEAUMONT FOR THE BUFORD AND CARROLL STREET
PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
THAT $200,000 is hereby transferred from the Water Improvement Fund
to the Street Construction Fund.
Section 2.
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to
execute a contract with Bella Company of Beaumont in the amount of
$19976, 429.50 for the constructing of street drainage and sanitary
sewer improvements along Buford and Carroll Streets.
Section 3 .
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances , should for any reason be held to be
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of
this ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions
of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 4 .
All ordinances or partsd of ordinances in conflict herewith
are repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
