ORDINANCE NO. ��°� ��7 13471
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A PORTION OF AN ALLEY LOCATED IN BLOCK 4,
FAIRVIEW ADDITION, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY,
TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN, PROVIDING THAT
SUCH ALLEY BE RETAINED AS A GENERAL UTILITY
EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain alley easement described as follows:
A 20 x 300 foot alley running in a
north/south direction between Roberts
Street and Prairie Street in Block 4
of Fairview Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, and
depicted on the plat on Exhibit A attached
hereto and made a part hereof for all
purposes,
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title to such
property shall revert to and become the property of the persons entitled
thereto, as provided by law; providing, however, that the herein above
described tract of land is expressly retained by the City of Beaumont for
General utility purposes only; title to such property, other than the
rights retained by the City of Beaumont herein, shall revert to and become '
the property of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
