ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ONE MILLION
DOLLARS FROM UNOBLIGATED RESOURCES IN THE
PUBLIC BUILDINGS AND LAND IMPROVEMENT FUND
TO A FUND FOR FIRE STATION IMPROVEMENTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING
FOR REPEAL.
WHEREAS, Five Hundred Thousand ($500,000) Dollars was
appropriated in the budget of the City of Beaumont for fire station
improvements; and
WHEREAS, The City Council desires to make an additional
appropriation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
THAT One Million ($1,000,000) Dollars of unobligated resources
in the Public Buildings and Land Improvement Fund is hereby appropriated
to Fund Number 711 for fire station improvements. The total appropriation
for such project is One Million Five Hundred Thousand ($1,500,000) Dollars.
Section 2.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held to be invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provis.ions .of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict .herewith are
repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
