ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING
AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY LOCATED
BETWEEN THE E. L. COX ADDITION
IN BLOCK 2 OF THE LINCOLN PARK
ADDITION IN BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN;
PROVIDING FOR THE RETENTION OF A
GENERAL UTILITY EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain alley easement described as
follows :
A twenty foot (201 ) by one hundred fifty-
six foot (1561 ) alley running north/south
and bordered on the north by the south
right-of-way line of Roman Street, on the
south by the north right-of-way line of
Durden Avenue, on the east by Block 2 of
the Lincoln Park Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Texas and on the west by Block 1
and part of Block 6 of the E. L. Cox
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Texas.
be, and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned and that title
to such property other than the rights reserved herein shall
revert to and become the property of the persons entitled there-
to, as provided by law; providing, however, that the hereinabove
described tract of land is expressly retained by the City of
Beaumont for general utility purposes only.
