ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING
$142,200 FROM UNOBLIGATED RESOURCES
IN THE AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT FUND TO
THE AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING CON-
STRUCTION PROJECT FUND; AYARDING A
BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING; AUTHORIZING
CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO SAID CONTRACT;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
There is hereby appropriated the sum of $142,200 from
unobligated resources in the airport improvement fund to an account
for the Airport Terminal building construction project.
Section 2.
The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
a contract with Jay Garth Construction Company in the amount of
$228,500 for the construction of an Airport Terminal building at the
Beaumont Municipal Airport.
Section 3.
The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
change order No. 1 to the contract with Jay Garth Construction Company
for the construction of the Airport Terminal building said change
order No. 1 reducing said contract by $2,754.
Section 4.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held to be invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 5.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
