ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A PORTION OF LOS ANGELES STREET LOCATED SOUTH
OF T�MLDEN ROAD IN THE SAMUEL STIVERS LEAGUE
TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY,
TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN, PROVIDING THAT
SUCH STREET BE RETAINED AS A GENERAL UTILITY
EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain portion of Los Angeles Street located south of Walden
Road described as follows:
BEING a forty (40) foot by Two Hundred
Sixty Five (265) foot undeveloped portion
of Los Angeles Street from Walden Road
South to Interstate 10 out of the Samuel
Stivers League to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas,
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title to such
property shall revert to and become the property of the persons entitled
thereto, as provided by law; providing, however, that the hereinabove
described tract of land is expressly retained by the City of Beaumont
for general utility purposes only; title to such property, other than
the rights retained by the City of Beaumont herein, shall revert to and
become the property of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1979.
