ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND
ABANDONING A 2863.5 SQUARE FOOT PORTION
OF 14CLEAN STREET RIGHT-OF-TAY ABUTTING
LOT'S 16-18, BLOCK 10, IN THE WESTFIELD
TERRACE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
JEFI'ERSON COUNTY, TEXAS® AS DESCRIBED
HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain portion of McLean Street right of way abutting Lots
16-18 in Block 10 of the Westfield Terrace Addition described as
follows:
For locative purposes, begin at the northwest
corner of Lot 16, Block 10, Westfield Terrace
Addition, Beaumont, Texas, as per map or plat
of said addition on file in the map records
of County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas;
THENCE South 481 13' East a distance of 50
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the tract
herein described;
THENCE continuing South 480 13' East a distance
of 108.32 feet to a point for corner in Lot 18,
Block 18, Westfield Terrace Addition the same
being the southeast corner of the tract herein
described;
THENCE turning North 89° 47' West a distance of
83.53 feet to a point for corner in Lot 17,
Block 10, Westfield Terrace Addition, the
same being the southwest corner of the tract
herein described;
THENCE turning North 2° 14' West a distance of
69.0 feet to a point for corner the same being
the Point of Beginning of the herein described
tract, containing 2863.5 square feet or 0.0657
acre,
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title to
such property shall revert to and become the property of the persons
entitled thereto, as provided by law.
