ORDINANCE NO. 7"-
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND
ABANDONING A 348.75 SQUARE FOOT PORTION
OF A 20 FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED
IN LOT 6, BLOCK 1, OF THE HEATHER GLEN
ADDITION IN BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUN'T'Y,
TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEA-UMONT:
THAT that certain 348.75 square foot portion of a 20 foot utility
easement described as follows:
BEING a portion of a 20 foot wide utility
easement out of Lot 6 Block 1 of Heather Glen
Addition, a subdivision recorded in the Map
Records of Jefferson County, Texas and said
tract of land being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a steel rod locating the upper
Northeast corner of Lot 6 and the Southeast
corner of Lot 7 of said Block 1 and the
Northeast and the beginning corner of the
tract of land herein described;
THENCE South 891 8' 30" West with the North
line of Lot 6 and the South line of Lot 7 of
said Block 1 a distance of 20.0 feet to a
point for corner;
THENCE South 0° 51' 30" East with the West
line of a 20 foot wide utility easement a
distance of 27.15 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 88° 18' 45" East with the South
line of a 20 foot wide utility easement a
distance of 20.02 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 0° 51' 30" West a distance of
28.04 feet to the place of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title to
such property shall revert to and became the property of the persons
entitled thereto, as provided by law.
