ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING
$92, 000 TO THE PARK IMPROVEMENT FUND
FOR FAIR PARK IMPROVEMENTS; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
WHEREAS, the sum of $28,861 has been previously
appropriated to the Park Improvement Fund for Fair Park
Coliseum modifications; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appropriate
an additional $92,000 to said fund for said modifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the sum of $92, 000, being $60, 000 from the unobligated
balance in the Revenue Sharing Fund and $32,000 from the
Hotel Motel Occupancy Tax Fund, is hereby appropriated to
the Park Improvement Fund to supplement the $28, 861 previously
appropriated for Fair Park Coliseum modifications; and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Fair Park Coliseum
modifications project is hereby established and the sum of
$120, 000 from the Park Improvement Fund is hereby appropriated
therefor.
