ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING ORDINANCE
80-121 ABANDONING A 10-FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT
AND A 22.5 FOOT DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOCATED IN
LOT 22, BLOCK 17, OF THE CALDER PLACE ADDITION,
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED
HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ordinance No. 80-121 passed by the City Council of
the City of Beaumont on the 23rd day of December, 1980 abandoning
a 10-foot utility easement and a 22.5 foot drainage easement
located in Lot 22, Block 17, of the Calder Place Addition,
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as described herein be
corrected by describing the abandoned portion as follows:
BEING a tract of land out of a part of Lots 21
& 22, Block 17, Calder Place Addition to the
City of Beaumont, Texas, and being more parti-
cularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the West line of Lot
21, Block 17, Calder Place Addition said point
being located 10 .0 feet North of the Common
West corner of Lots 21 & 22, Block 17, of said
Calder Place Addition;
THENCE East parallel to and 10 feet North of
the South line of Lot 21, Block 17 a distance
of 15.5 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the
tract herein described;
THENCE continuing East a distance of 17 feet
to a point for corner;
THENCE South parallel with and 32.5 feet East
of the West line of Lots 21 & 22, Block 17 a
distance of 87.9 feet to a point for corner,
said point being 2 .1 feet North of the South
Line of Lot 22, Block 17, Calder Place
Addition;
THENCE West parallel to and 2 .1 feet North of
the South line of said Lot 22, Block 17 a
distance of 17.0 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North parallel to and 15.5 feet East of
the West line of Lots 21 & 22, Block 17, a
distance of 87.9 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING of the tract herein described .
and further depicted on the plat attached
hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein
for all purposes.
