ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND
ABANDONING A PORTION OF 23RD STREET
LOCATED SOUTH OF IH10 TO THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS,
AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain portion of 23rd Street located South of IH10
described as follows :
A sixty-foot wide tract of land, the
centerline of which is 942 feet East and
parallel with the West line of the J. W.
BULLOCK SURVEY in Jefferson County, Texas,
extending South from the Interstate 10 -
Loop 251 right-of-way to Hildebrant
Bayou , more particularly described by metes
and bounds in an instrument recorded in
Volume 251 , page 44 of the Deed Records of
Jefferson County , Texas, and further
depicted on the plat attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all
purposes;
be, and the same is hereby , vacated and abandoned, and that title
to such property shall revert to and become the property of the
persons entitled thereto, as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
