WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of three (3) 18" check valves for
use by the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Mid-Tex Valve Sales, Lakehill, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of$38,946; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mid-Tex Valve
Sales, Lakehill, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of$38,946 submitted by Mid-Tex Valve Sales, Lakehill, Texas,
for the purchase of three (3) 18" check valves for use by the Water Utilities Division be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
June, 2003.
