ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH
(A) OF SECTION 27-9 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO PROVIDE A THREE (3) ACRE
MINIMUM FOR TYPE "B" TRAILER PARKS; AMENDING
SUBPARAGRAPH (C) (5) OF SAID SECTION TO
PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF 5,000 SQUARE FEET FOR
TRAILER COACH LOTS IN SAID TRAILER PARKS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
THAT Section 27-9, paragraph (A) , of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Beaumont shall be amended to read as
follows:
Section 27-9.
(A) Park area. Each trailer park "B" shall provide a
minimum of three (3 ) acres in area.
Section 2 .
THAT Section 27-9 subparagraph (C) (5) of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Beaumont shall be amended to read as
follows:
Section 27-9.
(C) Trailer coach lot standards. Each and every trailer
coach lot shall conform to the following standards:
(5 ) Provide a minimum area of five thousand (5,000 )
square feet determined by the lot lines.
Section 3 .
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance, or the application of same to a
particular set of persons or circumstances, should for any reason
be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the
remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such end the various
portions and provisions of this ordinance are declared to be
severable.
Section 4.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
Section 5.
Any person who violates any provision of this ordinance
shall, upon conviction, be punished as provided in Section 1-8 of
the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas.
